Frankfurt vs Arsenal
Europa League Group F
5:55pm Thursday 19th September

Commerzbank-Arena

Eintracht Frankfurt head coach Adi Hutter insists his side cannot read a lot into the second-half capitulation at Watford of Arsenal .
After blowing off a guide as they conceded 31 shots throughout the competition the Gunners were held to a draw at Vicarage Road.
They travel to Germany to confront Eintracht since the two sides meet in their opening Europa League Group F clash.
Eintracht, who lost on penalties to Chelsea ahead of the Blues went on to beat Arsenal in the final, will be eager to show they can compete despite having a summer of change.
Attacking trio Luka Jovic, Sebastien Haller and Ante Rebic accounted for 56 of those 90 goals scored last season but all have been offered throughout the summertime.
However, Hutter thinks his side can continue to build on where they left off, even if he fails to expect Arsenal to become as poor as they were at the weekend.
”I watched the match from Watford,” he explained. ”They had been fortunate to have not lost following a 2-0 lead. I would not tie it everything. They attempt to play soccer.
”Their doctrine is obviously recognisable and I presume they will perform so.
”On the flip side, we are in need of a very clear plan and we have both the options and the tools.”
Hutter also surrendered that anticipation has increased after an unexpected run into the last four of those Europa League but believes everyone at the club remains grounded.
”Surely the expectations have improved,” he added.
”The past season was outstanding with the semi-final plus a total of 14 games. We stay modest and want to get so far as possible, although the bar is high.
”Due to our accomplishments and the fact we almost reached the final we are perceived otherwise.”
Eintracht are while Swansea City player Jonathan de Guzman overlooks due to a problem that is muscular without Mijat Gacinovic, who was injured in training last week.
Whereas Goncalo Paciencia and Sebastian Rode are both doubts following an Achilles tendon ruptured marco Russ is ruled out.
Arsenal have no fresh injury concerns as they bid to return to winning ways.
Alexandre Lacazette is one of the absentees that are vital, using all the Frenchman ruled out for a few months after picking up a knee injury before the new break.
Kieran Tierney, Hector Bellerin and dinos Mavropanos are all back in training with all the first-team squad but are not yet ready to return to the matchday squad of Unai Emery.
This is going to be the first meeting between Eintracht Frankfurt along with Arsenal.
The past 3 meetings with Language competitions of eintracht have level, together with the side drawing 1-1 with Chelsea in the legs of the Europa League semi-final of last season, prior to being removed on penalties.
Arsenal have lost their last four off European matches against rivals, conceding 13 and scoring.
In Europa League combined along with Champions League, Arsenal have not been removed at the very first group stage since the 1999-00 Champions League.
Including qualifiers, Eintracht Frankfurt are unbeaten in their last 16 home games from European contest (W12 D4), since a 1-2 defeat Palermo in the 2006-07 UEFA Cup.
God only knows what defence Unai Emery will select. I don’t know we will need to mention it. They are good as are the youngsters going forward. It’s scary how bad Arsenal are, although the balance from midfield to front is not bad either.
What is the attraction to Sokratis Papastathopoulos? Kieran Tierney on Thursday and I would play with with and determine if Hector Bellerin could start also. Regarding Sunday’s game against Watford, when you see David Luiz giving instructions ahead, you know you’re in trouble.
Konstantinos Mavropanos remains game time off from being healthy. If Shkodran Mustafi was to be brought back it would be the conclusion again. We will need to have Rob Holding, Bellerin and Tierney back into the side as soon as possible. I would take a hit and play these players to give game time to them and let them get fit fitness.
Nicolas Pepe was awful contrary to Watford. Emery shot Dani Ceballos along with Mesut Ozil off was me. It’s starting to impact some of the other players that are young and Ainsley Maitland-Niles. Joe Willock and reiss Nelson arrived and couldn’t retain the ball.
It’s the manager’s responsibility. This must be resolved by him and come to some conclusion about the best way to sort out this. Tierney, Bellerin, and Holding need to play – I would play them and take a defeat when it meant they got the match time that they desired.
